Harpeth River Kennels is a place to bring your dog and allow you to feel comfortable and assured your family member is not only in good hands but is also receiving a good education in a clean and fun atmosphere. David Spaulding founder of Harpeth River Kennels has a deep respect, compassion and drive for building smart and happy companions. With over a decade of dedication in Developing programs for Obedience Training, Retriever Training, Upland Training, and Scent Detection the programs that have been put together are proven. 

 

Our puppy program is based around British Labradors that come from Champion Lines from all across the globe. They are cool, calm and collective family members that go hard in the field. Genetics are important when it comes to keeping a standard and trying to stay above the standard is what we strive to do.

 Each dog is to each their own and that must be taken into consideration when working with them. David believes in a training program that is flexible for each dog and shapes the process to fit their certain needs.
